Hauling Sunday LXXXV

LOL, okay, so perhaps saying that everything would be back on track by Monday was me being a bit too optimistic ^_^; Although I truly believed it when I wrote it... Of course, that was before I crashed down due to jet-lag two days in a row. However, I'm thankful to the jet-lag because it's been allowing me to wake up at 4am to watch the Olympic Games! And no, me coming home in time for the Olympic Games was not a happy coincidence. LOL, I know, I'm obsessed, no need to tell me :P

Aside from the Olympic Games, I'm also trying to catch up on other TV shows such as White Collar, Masterchef Australia... and Masterchef Australia All-Stars has just started! Yep, yep, very busy TV-wise, but that's how I like it! We're also slowly settling back home me and my sister - laundry, grocery shopping and cooking. And in the meantime, I've been trying to catch up on my reading :) But I promise, there are some stories and pictures of my trip coming!

So guess what is one of the first thing I did once I came home? Yep, I headed for the bookstore. I just couldn't help it! Hey, after all, I haven't bought any books for three weeks! LOL. Are you curious to know what I got?

Off the Menu by Stacey Ballis - This book caught my eyes when I was looking at new releases for our monthly post at Breezing Through. The blurb sounded really good and while I was away, Ames read and enjoyed it. So it was on my list to get as soon as I came home :)

Gunmetal Magic by Ilona Andrews - Do I need to say anything? Kate and Curran are not the main characters, but it's set in their world... I'm so in!

That Thing Called Love by Susan Andersen - Ms Andersen is an author I enjoy a lot and so, she's an auto-buy for me. Doesn't that cover scream summer? :P

And while I was gone, this came in the mail:

Paradise by Jill S. Alexander - This is a book that has been on my radar for a long time because Ames read and enjoyed it so much. It's finally been released in paperback format and so, I snagged it at a good price on Book Depository :)

And there we go :) Really good haul to come back home to :P So anything I forgot or missed while I was away?
