Hauling Sunday XXXI

So guess what? I was looking at my stats the other day and apparently, people are finding my blog by searching for XXX. I don't know whether it's hilarious or sad ^_^; I guess that if I was reading more erotica, it could be XXX... LOL.

Nothing special going on with me. I'm on the look-out for a new TV. There was one that I wanted, but by the time I went to the store to check it out and back home - 2 hours - the price went up :( I guess I'll be waiting some more. The Scotties Tournament of Heart, i.e. Canada's women curling championship, has started and that means I have something to watch everyday!! I wished I could switch place with my sister who's on Spring break - I could see all the matches. TSN used to put the matches online afterwards, but not this year :(

Anyway, let see what I got this week :)

What I Did for a Duke by Julie Anne Long - I got this one because of the rave reviews :) Everyone who's read it seemed to have enjoyed it a lot :)

The Heiress by Lynsay Sands - Enjoyed The Countess. Looking forward to Suzette's POV. I really like Suzette's character :) Bold and frank, that's my kind of heroine :)

How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf by Molly Harper - I've read Ms Harper's Jane Jameson series where a librarian is turned into a vampire :) It was a light and funny series and I'm expecting the same from this one :)

Treachery in Death by J.D. Robb - LOL, there's nothing to say about this book :P

I also got this from the bookstore :) They are bookends. Aren't they cute?!? I'm tempted to go buy more LOL.

  1. Lol @the XXX search!

I like the bookends too! I'm always on the lookout for cute bookends...for those bookcases that I'm never going to get. Lol.

I'm looking forward to the Robb book. Can't wait -- this one Peabody is the lead detective. Yay.

Is the Harper book like the Webber? I enjoyed the first two books in LV series but now I'm stuck on the third; I think because I'm reading too many back to back.

  2. I need to get to a point where I am reading for the newest J.D. Robb. Alas, I am quite far back on the series...

  3. I love the In Death series - seriously one of my all time favourite series ever.
I got massively excited when my copy of Treachery In Death arrived on Thursday, I started reading it there and then.
Whenever a new book comes out it always makes me want to go read all the other books in the series but there are just so many. I end up reading a few of my fav scenes from the different books.
Now it's just a looooong wait for the next book.

  4. I love those bookends!

I loved the first two JAL books I read, but haven't really loved her later ones - though like you've said, some pretty good reviews on this one.

I'm way behind on the JD Robb series, will probably get this one from the library at some point...

  5. LOL - I forgot to tell you, that's how I look for you blog too. j/k haha

Like always, good haul Nath. And those owls are too cute!

  6. Oh, great haul.

I hadn't heard about Molly Harper's books, but they sound nice. and I am partial to werewolves over Vamps, so I think I'll try to find this one.

I hope you love them all :D

  7. Tabitha - I know ^_^; Ah well.

They are so cute! I want more, but my sister says I don't need them... still, I think they're nice decoration! :)

    Molly Harper is more chick-litty than Heather Webber. I'm not sure you would enjoy them as much ^_^;

Kailana - You need to binge on them in order to catch up :) Where are you up to?

Sally - Totally agree with you, although I'm ready for things to shake up a little.

At least, the next NR stand-alone is coming soon :)

Li - Yay, someone else who likes them :)

I've read a few JAL and I haven't followed this series actually... but I don't know, sounds good and yeah, great reviews :)

Ames - Aha! We know what you do during your spare time! LOL.

I'm the Queen of hauling LOL.

Alex - Nod I agree with you, I prefer werewolves over vamps :)

  8. I've seen bloggers mention how people find them, but how do you find that out?

Ooh, Molly Harper is an author I still need to read. I'm going to start with her Jane Jameson series.

Yeah for another In Death book. Now that I'm caught up I have to wait with everyone else for the next one. :)

    Those bookends are adorable!

  9. Leslie - It's easy ;) Now Blogger keeps track for you :) In the dashboard, you see: New Post, Edit Post, Comments, Settings, Design, Monetize and Stats. Click on Stats.

In Stats, you can see Overview, Posts, Traffic Sources and Audience. Click on Traffic Sources and it'll be Search Keywords :) You can look for now, day, week, month and all time :) I like checking my stats :)

If you add a tracker on your blog to count the number of visitors such as StatCounter, ActiveMeter or another, you can check from there too :)

    I hope you enjoy Molly Harper :) She's a fun author :)

Congrats on catching up :) Want to buddy review it with me when you get to it? :)

I agree on the bookends. I'm still debating LOL.

  10. I LOVE the owl bookends! So adorable!!! My youngest and I are into cute owl things lately. ^_^

  11. oh yeah... nice haul, too! LOL

  12. Thanks for the blogger stat info. I should pay attention to things like that. LOL

I'm not sure how quickly I'll get to Treachery, it might be a couple of weeks. If you don't mind waiting that long, I'm in for the buddy review. :)

  13. Christine - Thanks Christine! I'm still debating whether to go buy more or not. I guess it depends on the stores' stock!! I'm probably going to check tomorrow ;)

Leslie - You're welcome :) Are you going to let us know the results? :)

What about this... I don't think I'm going to review Treachery right away, so by the time you read it, if I still haven't reviewed it, let me know and will buddy it :)

  14. Oh... LOL on the XXX, Nath!

I love the bookends, they're adorable. Let us know what you think of The Heiress. :)

  15. Hilcia - I know!! I really fell in love with the bookends :)

    Did you read The Countess?
