Guess what?!? I'm on vacation!!!

Yep, I am!!! Woohoo!!! I can't really believe it LOL. Truthfully, I would have preferred another time than the holiday season, but anyway, no complaining!! :)

I've been a bit quiet this week. I didn't really have time to blog or blog hop. Been busy putting things right in the lab so my absence won't affect work. Also, been getting home pretty late - my sister has been having exams this week and her schedule's been really, really sucky ^_^; But she's done too!!! So we're both free for 2 weeks!! Woohoo!!

So I've been thinking a little and this is my plans for the holidays in no real order:

- reading, reading, reading!! of course LOL
- blogging, blog-hopping and finding new blogs
- watching White Collar. Matthew Bomer is such a cutie! :)
- shopping
- re-shelve my books

more and seriously, just enjoy it all :)

Okay, so lately, what good books have you read? Gotta start my vacation on a good book!

  1. Yay you! Enjoy vacation!

I have to work through Wednesday then I'm off til Tuesday after New Years.

  2. White Collar is such a good show- I love Matt Bomer. Never fails to put me in a better mood :)

  3. Yay for holidays! I'm meant to be off from next week onwards, but will have to pop in for a couple of days.

Good books? Ummm... none recently that spring to mind unfortunately!

  4. Yeah for you! I work Monday & then I'm off until Jan 4.

    I've read & loved:
Lie With me & Promises In The Dark by Stephanie Tyler

No Place To Run - Maya Banks

    Kade - Cheyenne McCray

    Bakstage Pass - Olivia Cunning

    Have fun.

  5. Great for you Nath! Enjoy your time off. I have a three day work week next week and am looking forward to the doing the same. ;P

I just read Marry Me by Jo Goodman and really enjoyed it. ;P

That's about it for me, lol! Not much reading for me lately.

  6. Yeah! I see you have your priorities straight. :)

I'm reading Goodman's Marry Me now and it's very good. Love the hero & heroine!

Also started a YA - Lauren Oliver's Before I Fall. The premise is like Bill Murray's Groundhogs Day except the teen narrator dies & relives her last day. It's interesting but man the 4 girls are bitchy. These are girls I would have avoided in high school.

  7. Go you. Hope you have a wonderful vacation!

I've enjoyed recently, all category books:

Here Comes the Groom by Karina Bliss

Magnate's Make-Believe Mistress by Bronwyn Jameson

The Best Laid Plans by Sarah Mayberry

    Unguarded by Tracy Wolff

  8. enjoy your vacation! Wish I had one.

  9. Gotta love vacation! Any time of the year!!!!

I just devoured the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning. OMG I ended up TOTALLY loving this series and am now being tortured with the wait for the fifth and final book, Shadowfever due out Jan. 18, 2011. I have not been so on edge like this for a book release in YEARS.

Now I'm reading a cute YA holiday-themed story, Dash & Lily's Book of Dares. Only 50 pages now, but so far it's clever and genuine and thoughtful. And I think a little romance is ahead. ;)

    Enjoy your break!

  10. Yay!! Vacation is vacation have fun! And no reading - too much doing going on right now.

  11. Lori - Thanks!! Enjoy your time off too :) That's what I like about companies is that they usually let you off in between. Not my job :(

D.L. - I totally agree :) He is sooooo cute and I love that pilot episode! :)

Li - Awww, still you have a couple of days off :) I'll have to pop into work tomorrow as well, actually :(

Sigh, it's depressing that there is no good books out there at the moment :(

    Mary - Woohoo :)

    Thanks for the suggestions!!

Hils - Everyone's been saying that the new Goodman is good, but I don't know. I'm not a fan of hers...

Leslie - LOL, oho yeah :P

Hmmm, Goodman... is there any dark secret in there?

I have the Lauren Oliver... One day, I'll read it LOL.

Tabitha - Thanks for the suggestion, Tabs! I'm going to check them out :P

Isabel - Thanks :P and ohh, you have to work? :(

    Christine - True, true LOL.

Hmmm, never been a fan of KMM. Problem is the fae, I'm not into it. I love discovering series at the last minute, when the next book is coming out very soon LOL.

I might look into the YA :P

Cindy - are you hosting, Cindy? :P
