Guess what I got?

Just a quick post :) Guess what I got?...
Tada!!!

Dagger-Star by Elizabeth Vaughan!!!

Okay, so it's not the copy that I pre-ordered... Yep, you guessed it right, I went out to buy another copy :P But I'm already predicting that I'll need a keepsafe copy :) I've just started it and I'm at the beginning of chapter 3, so just a bit after the excerpt that was posted on her website... but I have to say, I'm happy this trilogy is not written at 1st person narrator :P This will allow more points of view.
Anyway, all in all, I'm pretty happy and this pretty much makes my week-end. Now if only I could get my hands on Strike Zone by Kate Angell, I'd be in heaven.
So what are your plans for the week-end everyone?

  2. Pretty cool cover. Not much going on with us over the weekend. We're getting HD, but Joey is more excited about that than I am.

  3. Is this the same author that wrote Warrior? I heard good things about that book but haven't read it.

  4. Katie - Check your bookstore :D if I have it, then chances are you can get it too. I loved her War Chronicles... it was great :) can't wait to readd this one :P

Isabel - I think HD is a guy thing. I'm annoyed, because getting HD means getting a new tv, then the cable and etc.. seriously, do we need it? Hope you have a nice week-end :)

Jill - I don't think so. She wrote Warprize, Warsworn and Warlord... the whole was called the War Chronicles trilogy if I'm not wrong. Great books.. I think I've reviewed them :) you can check my archives :)

  5. Whoops! I was was thinking of Warlord. I will check out your posts on it. I didn't realize it was part of a trilogy. Glad I found that out as I hate to start a book in the middle of a series. (I am anal that way).

  7. I want this one too!

Come to think of it, I don;'t think I have read the third book in the Warlord Chronicles yet. That might be what I am doing this weekend - then again there are a few other books that I should read too!

  9. Jill - Yep, good to know it`s a series :) It's a great trilogy by the way :) I think a must-read if you like fantasy :D and the storyline really follows each other, so it's important for this trilogy to read it in in order :D Let me know what you think when you read it :D

Vivou = MUHAHAHAHA!! LOL :) Can't promise anything... good news is if you can't wait, then you'll probably easily find it in bookstore now :D

Marg - I think you should read Warlord :D it's a nice and fitting end for the trilogy :D Although I don't think it'll be necessary for Dagger Star.

Renee - If you have a chance to, give it a try Renee :D it's just great :D
