After reading A Promise of Fire by Amanda Bouchet, it made me really want to re-read Warprize by Elizabeth Vaughan. The Chronicles of Warland series is one of the best fantasy romance out there in my opinion. I'm also really excited because it seems the author is working on Simus' book!! :) Anyway, after re-reading Warprize, I couldn't stop just there... so I went on and read Warsworn and Warlord. With the Olympics on my mind, I find I'm not paying a 100% my attention on what I'm reading... so re-reading seems to make perfect sense. As a result, I picked up Demon Angel by Meljean Brook next. The only frustrating thing is I've lent out both Warprize and Demon Angel out to a friend and I can't find my keepsafe copies. Sigh. Luckily, I do have the ebooks.
So I'm curious... What is the last re-read you did? What books have you wanted to re-read, but haven't had time? Are there any books you re-read regularly?
These are actually books that I haven't re-read in a while. So I'm happy to get to them. Another book I've wanted to re-read is Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder. I also want to read her new trilogy, but have decided to wait for the third book to come out first, so I can read the whole thing :)
As for books that I regularly re-read... Count to Ten by Karen Rose is up there. Cursor's Fury by Jim Butcher and The King of Attolia by Megan Whalen Turner. Also, I regularly go into a NR mood which usually means The Search and Angels Fall :)
